Results table: video creation statuses
The results table takes up the bottom of the project tab. It is hidden until the first start and appears with the "Start" button. One row is one copy the app creates. The table has 80 columns in total: five service columns, 73 columns of drawn values and two checksums. A column cannot be hidden or moved.
What is in the service columns?
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| "Name" | the full path of the new file; in the cell the text is cut in the middle, and it is shown in full in the tooltip |
| "Status" | the state of the row; a refusal with details gets a copy button on the right |
| "Progress" | a bar with a label like "NN%" |
| "Similarity to original" | how similar the copy is to the source video |
| "Similarity to copies" | how similar the copy is to the other copies of the same source video |
The initial width of the "Name" column is 200 px. You can drag the column borders with the mouse.
What is in the drawn value columns?
Most uniquification settings are set as a range. The app picks a number from the range anew for each copy. These 73 columns show what this particular copy drew. For a setting that is off, the cell shows a hyphen -.
| Group | Columns | Column names |
|---|---|---|
| Picture | 7 | "Brightness", "Contrast", "Gamma", "Exposure", "Sharpness", "Mirrored", "Rotation" |
| Grid | 4 | "Grid color", "Grid width", "Grid height", "Grid opacity" |
| Texture and optics | 12 | "Noise", "Vignette", "Noise reduction", "Chromatic aberration", "Smart blur", "Blur", "Adaptive sharpness", "Debanding", "Frame blending", "Lens distortion", "Perspective", "Stabilization" |
| Frame geometry | 5 | "Border", "Pixelation", "Cropping", "Camera zoom", "Scaling" |
| Time | 3 | "Duration", "Fade in", "Fade out" |
| Video sound | 7 | "Volume", "Audio pitch", "Audio: High-pass filter", "Audio: Low-pass filter", "Audio: Bass", "Audio: Treble", "Audio: Mids" |
| Additional audio | 6 | "Extra audio: Pitch", "Extra audio: High-pass filter", "Extra audio: Low-pass filter", "Extra audio: Bass", "Extra audio: Treble", "Extra audio: Mids" |
| Template | 8 | "Template: Main video rotation", "Template: Main video size", "Template: Main video opacity", "Template: Secondary video", "Template: Secondary video start", "Template: Secondary video rotation", "Template: Secondary video size", "Template: Secondary video opacity" |
| Text | 6 | "Text added", "Text: Position", "Text: Font", "Text: Size", "Text: Color", "Text: Background color" |
| Watermark | 4 | "Watermark: Position", "Watermark: Rotation", "Watermark: Opacity", "Watermark: Size" |
| Color correction | 11 | "Color correction: Highlights", "Color correction: Midtones", "Color correction: Shadows", "Color correction: Saturation", "Color correction: Hue shift", "Color correction: Temperature", "Color correction: Vibrance", "Tone curve", "Color correction: Levels", "Channel contrast", "Monochrome" |
Three columns are drawn not as text. "Grid color", "Text: Color" and "Text: Background color" are shown as a colored swatch. The "Text: Font" cell is drawn in the very font the copy drew.
The table has no metadata columns. What is written to the file can be seen only in the properties of the file itself.
What is in the last two columns?
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| "Original checksum" | the MD5 checksum of the source file |
| "New video checksum" | the MD5 checksum of the copy; for a stopped copy it shows "Stopped" |
Different checksums of two files mean that the files differ by at least one byte.
How to read the statuses?
A row changes its status as work goes on. Intermediate statuses when creating videos on the device:
"Authorizing", "Creating video", Opening video element: N, Transcoding video to <codec>, Recreating the video (attempt N/M), "Checking similarity".
Intermediate statuses when creating videos in the cloud:
"Preparing the upload to the cloud", "Waiting for the original upload", "Uploading the video to the cloud", Uploading media to the cloud (N/M), "Reconnecting to upload...", "Starting video creation in the cloud", "Waiting for a free cloud thread", "The cloud is unavailable, retrying", "Waiting in the cloud queue", Waiting in the cloud queue (N ahead), "Processing in the cloud", "Reconnecting to the cloud...", "Downloading the result", "Downloading the result again...", "Refreshing the result link...", "Reconnecting to download...", Recreating in the cloud (attempt N/M), Server is busy - waiting in the queue (attempt N).
Final statuses:
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| "Done" | the copy was created on the device |
| "Done (cloud)" | the copy was created in the cloud and downloaded |
| "Done/Sent over HTTP" | the copy was created and sent to the integration address |
| "Mark:Deletion" | the copy is marked as too similar |
| "Deleted" | the copy was deleted as a result of the similarity check |
| "Deleting..." | deletion is in progress |
| "Deletion failed" | the file could not be deleted; it stayed in the folder |
| "Stopped" | the work was stopped before creation finished |
| "Stopped. Deleted" | the unfinished file was deleted on stopping |
| "Stopped by you" | stopped with the "Stop" button |
The "Mark:Deletion" status also appears with the "Do nothing" action. It is an intermediate mark; with this action the file stays in place.
Refusal statuses:
| Status | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
Error: <failure name> | an unexpected refusal; the details are in the tooltip | copy the text with the button and send it to support |
| "Cloud error" | the cloud could not handle the task | start again |
| "Cloud error · credits refunded" | the same, but the credits came back to the balance | start again |
| "Rejected" | the cloud did not accept the file | the file is larger than 1 GB or the resolution is above 4K |
| "Sending over HTTP failed" | the integration address did not respond | check the address in the integration window |
HTTP error: <code> | the address replied with a refusal | look at the response code on your side |
| "Daily video limit reached" | the plan limit is used up | wait for the reset or change your plan |
| "Out of credits" | zero balance | top up the balance |
| "The license has expired" | the plan has ended | renew the plan or enter a valid key |
| "Not enough memory" | there was not enough memory for this video | close other apps, lower the number of threads |
| "A setting range is the wrong way round" | in a setting the start is greater than the end | fix the range in the project settings |
A refusal line always starts with the word "Error". In the similarity columns the same word stands on its own and means something else: the similarity could not be calculated.
What can be in the similarity columns?
| Value | What it means |
|---|---|
- | the similarity check is off |
| "Waiting for video..." | the copy is still being created |
| "Comparing with the original" | the comparison with the source video is running |
Comparing with copy N | the comparison with a neighboring copy is running |
| "NN %" | the result of the comparison |
| "First copy" | there is nothing to compare with; there are no neighbors yet |
<- Above the threshold | similarity to the original exceeded the threshold; the app did not compare the neighbors any more |
| "N/A" | stopping cut the comparison short |
| "Error" | the comparison failed |
More about the numbers themselves is on the Similarity check page.
What can you do with a row?
You can:
- hover over "Name" and read the full path in the tooltip;
- hover over "Status" and read the reason for a refusal;
- press the copy button in the "Status" cell; the reason and service information for support go to the clipboard, and the label "Copied to the clipboard" appears on the screen;
- drag the column borders with the mouse;
- scroll the table horizontally and vertically.
You cannot:
- sort the table - rows go in the order they appear;
- select rows - there is no selection at all, so there is no copying with Ctrl+C either;
- open a context menu - a right click does nothing;
- open a file with a double click - a row has no such action;
- hide and move columns;
- save the table to a file - there is neither a button nor a menu item for this.
The only way to take something out of the table is the copy button of a single refusal row.
Why is there no report after a new start?
The table is not saved anywhere. It is cleared at the start of every press of "Start", even without closing the project. When the tab is closed, the table is removed along with it. When the project is opened again, it is empty again and hidden until the start.
Please save what you need yourself:
- Wait for the work to finish.
- Take a screenshot of the table.
- Copy the reason for a refusal with the button in the "Status" cell.
Do not confuse the table with the "Transaction history" window. The history of credit charges and top-ups is stored, but the results table is not.
How many rows stay in the table?
The number of rows is limited by the global setting "Number of rows in the report table". The default is 5000, the smallest value is 10. The app removes only rows where work has finished. If only rows in progress remain above the limit, the limit is temporarily exceeded.
The setting is reread once at start. A new value takes effect from the next press of "Start".
Frequently asked questions
Why does the "Name" column show the full path, not the file name?
This ties the row to the file unambiguously. The column is narrow, so the text is cut in the middle. Hover over it - the tooltip shows the whole path. About the name rules, see the How created files are named page.
How do I export the report to a spreadsheet or a file?
You cannot. The app has no export to a file and no copying of rows. Take a screenshot or write down the values you need by hand.
Why are there fewer rows than the copies I ordered?
A row is created per file path. Two copies with the same path give one row. More on the How created files are named page.
What does a hyphen in a setting column mean?
The setting is off in the project. There was nothing to draw, so the cell shows -.
Why does a copy say "Done" but the file is not in the folder?
Look at the status more closely: for a deleted copy it looks like "Deleted" or "Stopped. Deleted". The similarity check deletes a copy if the similarity exceeded the threshold. The second possibility is that another copy with the same path replaced the file.
