Check before start: what stops video creation
The "Start" button does not create videos right away. First the "Check before start" sheet opens. It gathers everything that blocks the work and everything worth knowing in advance. While the sheet has a "Not ready" section, the "Start now" button in it is inactive. Below is the full list of rows of this sheet and what to do about each one.
What sections does the sheet have?
The sections go from top to bottom in this order.

The limit section is not shown to everyone: a plan without a daily video limit does not have it. The cost section is absent when no cloud threads are set.
The sheet rebuilds after each fix and does not close. You do not need to open it again. The window height adjusts to the content.

The "credits short of what the start needs" row has an explanation: The start reserves {N} - the most the queue can cost. Balance: {N}. With recreation of similar copies turned on, the same place also shows a note about attempts.
The "Disk C is full" row has this explanation: "There is nowhere to save finished videos. Free up space on the disk or choose a save folder on another disk."
What warnings are there?
These rows do not block the start. The "Start now" button stays active with them.

A button stands to the right of a row. There is no button where a setting cannot fix anything: then the needed action is described right in the row.

How is the check before a preview different?
The preview has its own sheet with a different title and a different button.

Because of the last row, the preview sheet sometimes opens even when the settings are all in order. This happens when the daily video limit is used up. More about the preview itself on the Preview window page.
Why is the cost shown as an upper bound?
The sheet reserves the worst case: all files of the queue are created in the cloud. Rarely is that much actually charged. Next to the cost there is the number of files that will go to the cloud. About the calculation: the Video creation mode page.
Frequently asked questions
The "Start now" button is gray. What do I do?
Read the "Not ready" section at the top of the sheet. Each of its rows is a separate refusal reason. Most rows have a fix button on the right. Fix all the rows, and the section closes. The "Start now" button becomes active.
I fixed everything, but the sheet stayed open. Is that normal?
Yes. The sheet rebuilds after each fix and stays on the screen. You do not need to close it and open it again. As soon as the "Not ready" section is empty, click "Start now".
Can I skip the warnings?
Yes. Warnings do not block the start, the "Start now" button stays active with them. They are still worth reading: they cover disk space, threads and the remaining daily video limit.
Why did the sheet not open before the preview?
No refusal reasons were found. When the settings are all in order, the preview starts right away, without the sheet. You do not need to open the preview window itself: it is the right column of the project window.
What does the row "The project is too heavy for this device" mean?
The memory use forecast showed that even one video may not fit. Please turn off heavy settings or set cloud threads. The list of heavy settings is on the Performance page.
